To Kill a King, my most anticipated band on my list right now.
I must say this album took me by surprise. I remember when I first heard the Foals’ Antidotes I was not blown away, it was not nearly as impressive as their new LP. Total Life Forever has solid bass and drum lines accompanied by a more hymnal-esque singing. Really an underrated album of 2010.

I think these mixes are spot on. They blend B.I.G.’s flow and creativity so well with the melody and hooks of the xx. Perfect music to chill out and study to. You should def download this shit. Here is the link to the entire mixtape.

What more do you want and need? Living in New York in your 20’s and trying to make it is pretty much the epitome of the American Dream.
Best Movie:
Honestly haven’t seen anything yet but am looking forward to seeing Alice in Wonderland and of course Iron Man 2 and other movies as well.
But best of all winter’s gone and springs coming. Cuff your pants and get some nice shirts (not plaid though) maybe some deck shoes or some comfortable Vans, their CA editions would be nice/preferable. and finally enjoy 2010! for those who also dread the winter time, like I did.

Possibly my favorite song from the Veckatimest release from Grizzly Bear. Directed by Allison Schulnik with her unique play of paint. It’s really cool. I’m pretty sure they use stop motion to make this video.
